Democrats Wilting Under the Heat of Observation

Apparently, Democratic politicians are beginning to realize they are accountable to the people they theoretically represent, and those people are beginning to make themselves known to them. What happens when a constituent shows some interests in the actions of his representatives? Well, if you're a Democrat, you either run

or you make a jackass out of yourself by demanding to know why someone wants to ask you a question on videotape, as if there's something odd and worrisome about being publicly accountable as a public official

I think it's time to bring back tar and feathers in the public square. But, we'll start with Democrat Jack Murtha of Johnstown, Pa, King of Pork and Chairman of the Military Smears Committee.
